I have one tip for you today to help you get the most out of the rest of the year.

One thing you can do to set yourself up for a great rest of the year.

This goes along with the one-two marketing punch I’ve been talking about a lot in my Premier Community. It’s a combination of my Hot 150™ system and The 40-Day Dash™ program.

The one thing you can do now is to create your Hot 150™ list. Come up with a detailed list of 150 people or businesses you’d like to work with.

Make a list of 150 clients you think would be:

  • Cool to work with because they’re doing exciting things
  • Maybe under-the-radar and not getting called on by lots of other writers
  • Open to new ideas and solutions to their problems
  • Not difficult to find the right person to talk to
  • Profitable to work with because they’re doing well (but could be doing better with your help)

That last one is probably the most important, of course. We want to work with people we can serve now, and for a long time into the future.

So, before you make any other moves, get your Hot 150™ list situated.

Then make it a goal to reach every person on that list by the end of summer. Aim for three a day. Doable, right?

Get the list done, connect with only three people a day, Monday through Friday, and it will take you 10 weeks to cycle through it. Start on the first day of summer, for example (June 21) and you’ll make it through the first pass by August 30.

Besides that, I’m going to keep focusing on Three Core Themes in the Cafe:

1

Keeping it Simple (Marketing Minimalism)

I think too many people make it too complicated, then selling you a solution to solve that complication problem.
2

Keeping Activity Levels High

We don't talk enough about activity. It still boils down to a game of numbers.
3

Focusing on Connections, Conversations, and Relationships

I've been talking about these for a long time, and I'll continue to. It's the basis of how I've built my business, and it's a way to compete successfully in a world of 7- and 8-figure operators (if you're not there yet yourself).

Make good connections with people on your list (and having a list to work from, always).

Have good conversations. Learning how to position yourself and sell.

Develop long-term relationships.

Play the long game. It works.

Want details on exactly how all of this works?

I always give you the What here, and some of the How. If you want the details of the How, along with getting it all implemented and getting results, that’s what we do in my Premier Community.

The doors are currently closed, but they’ll be opening again for new members June 21-30, just in time to kick-off a rockin’ summer season.

Watch this space for updates, and let me know below if there’s anything specific you’d like answers on.
