I’m a writer
For the past 14 years I called myself a copywriter, and I was. I made a good living crafting ads and sales messages for clients and for my own businesses.
But deep down, I knew there was more. Much more.
I write from the heart.
I write what’s on my mind.
I write to get thoughts and ideas out of my head and into the world.
I write to clarify.
I write to make sense of things.
Do I still write to persuade and sell? Sure, that’s part of it. A small part.
I’m a good copywriter and have the results and testimonials to prove it. That doesn’t excite me anymore.
As of today, January 31, 2023, I’m not a copywriter. I no longer write for clients. I write for myself.
I write to quiet the noise and hear myself think.
I write to help others make sense of a disjointed world.
I write to make an impact.
I write social media posts.
I write blog posts.
I write books.
I write letters.
I write stories and novel series and screenplays.
I write memoirs (my own and my family’s).
I write things no one else has seen or heard before. Watch for more.
