I love talking with people.

Phone, Zoom call, Skype, whatever works best.

And any chance I get, I connect with Cafe Members in person.

I’ve met with hundreds of you over coffee or lunch, or at my workshops. I’ve had Cafe Members meet me here in Wisconsin, driving all the way from places like Cincinnati, Minneapolis, and even Windsor, Ontario.

In fact, today I’m spending the entire day with a Cafe Member who drove here all the way from Nebraska, for the sole purpose of working with me to get her business situated, launched, and profitable.

I’ve had Cafe Meetups from LA to NYC, and lots of places in between. Three different times I’ve met Cafe Members in South America, once in Mexico, and once in Israel.

Connecting. Getting to know people in real life, not just online. Developing relationships.

That’s the stuff life is made of!

Don’t get me wrong. I love this virtual community, too. The Cafe Writer group is like family. Better than some family members, actually.

But it seems like so much of what I’m seeing online these days is confined there.

Group leaders who pride themselves on being unavailable. Some even brag about being a private recluse, only venturing out once or twice a year to speak for an hour at someone else’s event.

Other than that, in person access to them is almost non-existent. I don’t get that.

Why wouldn’t you want to get to know people beyond some surface-level online communication?

At the very least, it’s the main reason I’m able to keep my finger on the pulse of what’s going on in the copywriting world.

I’m able to keep tabs on clients, services, and niches outside of those I’m familiar with. I stay on top of trends and market shifts, because people here tell me.

I get the inside scoop on a weekly basis.

So, yeah, there’s an ulterior motive. It keeps me in the loop, and I pass those things along to all of you in the Cafe. I also share more private details of my own life and business with my Premier community.

Beyond all that, I enjoy hanging out with people. I don’t hide behind my keyboard.

Cafe Writer is a virtual community, unlike any I’ve been a part of. It’s my FB group, my Premier community (a paid membership site), and interaction on my website, blog, and through these emails.

Cafe Writer is also a real-life place.

These days, I spend most of my time interacting with my Premier community.

While I still send out emails twice a week, and interact in my FB group, I spend a ton of time connecting with Premier Members.

We have live, interactive Cafe Confidential calls (via Zoom) every Thursday at 1:00 pm Central Time, where we come together and share ideas that are working now, in the trenches.

I go into detail on what’s working in my own business, and that of other Premier Members.

A few days ago I got an email from someone who commented on a recent Cafe Confidential interview I did with another member.

He said, “I think the interview with Paul is one of the most helpful resources I’ve had access to in the last year or so.

I also get messages like this every week: “Right now I’m absorbing everything in the 40-Day Dash, which is excellent, by the way.

And this: “I’ve been meaning to update you. I did all the branding work using your worksheet. I also implemented your Client Conversation method, and I’ll be damned, it worked! Now I have a new working relationship with a client who’s paying me the rate I want. Thanks for everything, Steve!

If you want to build your business in a simple, productive way that works, without pouring tons of money into FB ads and other marketing, I can help.

I’ve done it for hundreds of people in the Cafe over the past seven years, and I can do it for you.

This isn’t a group coaching program or high-ticket mastermind.

It’s simply a community where you can get answers and solutions, without taking out a loan or hiding a credit card statement from your partner.

You and I will also get to connect 1-on-1. Who does that anymore!?

We open the doors to the Premier community at the beginning of each new season: September 21, December 21, March 21, and June 21, and stay open until the last days of each of those four months.

Details here on our next opening.

I do that to ensure we keep the current vibe and community feel, and to make sure I spend one-on-one time with each new member in the first few months.

Let me know if you have any questions before then. It’s a great community, and will help you grow, but it’s not for everyone.
